<p><a title="3D Printing Gang by rsaxvc, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/40925843@N03/5516417651/"></a>At the end of the CCCKC General Meeting on March 11th, 2011 the <a href="https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/kc-fabricators" target="_blank">KC Fabricators</a> posed for a photo to complete the first <a href="http://blog.makerbot.com/2011/02/22/makerbot-user-group-challenge-1-there-will-be-leds/" target="_blank">MakerBot User Group Challenge</a>. In attendance from left to right was Charles Huber (recipient of the 2010 Mini Maker Faire Acrylic Cupcake giveaway), Craig Berscheidt, Jestin Stoffel, Luis Rodriguez, Michael Overstreet, Tim Middleton, Rob Giseburt, and Leland Snidt. Paul Guinto&#8217;s bot was present but he was not able to make it. Michael Curry was absent and so was his bot, sitting lonely at home not enjoying the limelight&#8230;for once. That is 13 if your keeping count and can make out the two acrylic bots side be side. Printers range from many Cupcakes, one Thing-o-matic, one UP!, one Mendel, and one MENDEL XL. Come see what were working on like casting <a href="http://open3dp.me.washington.edu/2011/02/prusa-mendel-and-the-clonedels/" target="_blank">Clonedels</a> and building custom CNC machines like the <a href="http://makeyourbot.wikidot.com/mantis9-1" target="_blank">Mantis</a>. Last month we got our <a href="http://blog.cowtowncomputercongress.org/2011/02/20/ccckc-cnc-101/" target="_blank">CCCKC CNC</a> operational! ! If your interested in personal fabrication we generally meet every Thursday at 7pm at the <a href="http://blog.cowtowncomputercongress.org/about/" target="_blank">cave</a>.</p>
