The Cowtown Computer Congress

BarCamp KC will be held on September 26th at JavaPort in the Crossroads District. This is the second year for BarCampKC and this year it will be staffed by volunteers from CCCKC. We’re really excited to hear some of our own member give talks, as well as to hear from other members of the local tech community.

Didn’t make it last year? BarCampKC is a user generated conference in Kansas City that’s focused on innovative technology, blogging, and business projects local to the area.

“User generated” means some of the people who attend BarCampKC are the same people organizing and presenting at the conference. In other words we hope that if you come to BarCampKC you’ll also present something (“run a session”). If not, just be ready to listen to other presenters, contribute to their content, and ask a lot of questions.
