The Cowtown Computer Congress

Gustav, our ornery butler – turned – mascot has been Twittering for a while, but now I’ve rigged his twitter account up to tell others when there are people hanging out in the cave. Gustav waits patiently for people to join him. Once they do, Gustav notifies the twitterverse that things are happening. He will watch patiently while hackers play, but when the hackerspace goes idle for a while, Gustav sends out another notice that things have gotten quiet.

Assuming that twitter doesn’t throw you a Fail-Whale, it should now be a lot easier to see at-a-glance if there’s anyone to hang out with in the cave. What else would you like to see Gustav talk about? Tell us in the comments! Be sure to see how I set everything up after the jump.
