After a successful Mini Maker Faire last year, the powers that be have been hard at work organizing a full-blown Maker Faire for the Kansas City area. It’s going to be at Union Station in downtown Kansas City June 24-25, 2011.

The call for makers went out today also so get signed up! If you’re a sculptor, a musician, a glass blower, a creative welder, a hacker, a circuit bender, a 3D printer operator, a robot builder, a quilter, a gardener, a photographer, a graphic artist… anything, if you made it, sign up and bring it. Oh, your project/art/mad-robot doesn’t have to work or be finished, it just has to be there! If you’re working on it while people are watching that makes it all the more engaging and attainable.

CCCKC will have a large representation from a wide variety of ‘disciplines’ so if your interested in the space come out and chat with us.
