Last night, CCCKC members brought in their Makerbots and RepRaps for a round of heater barrel calibrations performed using a thermocouple and an arduino mysteriously taken from my toolbox. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many printers in one place.

  2. Ya know, I’m a new makerbot owner absolutely pulling my hair out, because resources on this subject are woefully incomplete. As there are 7 of you who have just calibrated your machines, would you PLEASE post a step by step, with pictures and references, of the entire process.

    now, for someone to write a jailbreak app to take a GCode file on the device filesystem, then send it line-by-line over serial on bluetooth, to a makerbot.
