In an effort to satisfy the request from the unborn Makerbot:
“Help me to help you make things”
We have a list of the components we need to complete our Makerbot build on the wiki. To help facilitate the purchase of the remaining components, we got a visitor.

The Cookie-bot has joined the CCCKC Hackerspace from regions unknown.
There are only a few known facts about the Cookie-bot:
- His cookies are delicious
- 1 cookie= 1 dollar. Put it in his head
- All proceeds go to the Makerbot Cupcake CNC Machine
- The conversations between him and gustav are nothing but weird
Currently, the Cookie-bot has monster cookies for sale. Cookies cost $1 and the
money should go in the robot’s head. If the cookies run out, he has some backups at home, but please feel free to donate any of your own baked goods to
the cause. Payment will be based on the honor system, but I strongly
suggest that you do not anger the cookie-bot. (srsly)
About the Makerbot Cupcake CNC Machine
From BrePettis.com
What is the MakerBot?
It’s a 3D printer that takes a digital three-dimensional design — maybe it is a character that you thought up in your head or a part for your car — and prints it out in plastic. The plastic is like spaghetti, and it feeds into an extruder that heats it up to 200 degrees Celsius and squeezes it out. The machine then moves around to build the object you designed. The plastic is real-ly strong, like the stuff Legos are made out of. Basically, the MakerBot can make anything you can imagine.
