CCCKC is devoted to giving back to the local community in any way that we can. People and organizations can serve their communities through time or money. As a young non-profit ourselves, philanthropy through donations is difficult to execute. What we can achieve is service by putting our collective technical expertise to work for other local charities.

To help achieve this goal, the Board of Directors voted to begin adopting one or two local groups for a 12 month period where we would focus our efforts.

Shortly after the resolution was adopted by the members, we selected JayDoc as this year’s partner. JayDoc is a free health clinic on the west side of Kansas City which is operated entirely by students at the University of Kansas Medical school. Over the next few months, we will be assisting them in the revamping of their web presense and helping guide the implementation of some new hardware.

We are very excited to be partner with such a unique local charity and look forward to serving other local charities over the next few years.

If you are interested in learning more about the service projects we will be performing or would like to volunteer your expertise, contact Jestin Stoffel whose contact information can be found at the Google Group.
